HURRICANE HAS POSTPONED THE MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT UNTIL OCTOCBER 21, 2017.
The Pinellas County Law Enforcement Memorial Golf Tournament was established to honor those officers who gave their lives in performance of their duty to the citizens of Pinellas County Florida and provide immediate support for the families they leave behind.
The Memorial Golf Tournament is held in September each year on the date closest to 9/11 as possible. Proceeds from the tournament are primarily used to provide immediate funds to the family of any Local, State or Federal Law Enforcement Officer who is killed in the line of duty in Pinellas County. A portion of the proceeds is also used to fund the Lodge's scholarship program.
The 2017 Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at East Lake Woodlands Country Club in Oldsmar, Florida on Saturday October 21, 2017. There will be an 1230 pm Shotgun Start, an Honor Guard presentation of Colors, a reading of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in Pinellas County, and a brief speaker. The Helicopter Golf Ball Drop is a chance to win $1,000 for a ten dollar entry. Odds of winning 1/1000 and you need not be present to win. Silent Auction and Live Auctions will be held as well.
Costs include range balls, cart, golf, lunch, dinner, and prizes.
First Responders(Active or Retired) $100 per person.
All others (Civilian backers of local law enforcement) $100 as well.
